CEO Connection generates the list by reviewing publicly available revenue data for U.S. based companies within the parameters of Mid-Market (those with $3 billion to $100 million in annual revenue totals). The top 500 companies are ranked by their revenue level from 1 to 500. In addition to revenue, the following details also undergo review:

• CEO Information
• Other Key Players Information (CFO, CMO, COO, CTO, and HR Officer)

Prior to publication, CEO Connection sends the list to the ranked companies to validate/verify the information.
