Tina Hodges

Chief Executive Officer and Chief Experience Officer

Tina joined Advance Financial in 2008 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Experience Officer. She is a co-owner with her husband and company founder Mike Hodges. Prior to assuming her role as CEO in 2013, Tina oversaw all retail and call center operations, human resources and employee development as vice president and chief operating officer. In that time, Advance Financial grew from three locations in Middle Tennessee to over 50 locations across the state and more than 600 employees.  She has faithfully steered the company into one of the largest financial services retailers in Tennessee. Advance Financial currently operates over 80 locations and employees 800 Tennesseans and has online services in Alabama, California, Delaware, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin. 

Before her time at Advance Financial, Tina was a registered nurse. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and earned a certificate in medical technology from Meharry Medical College. Tina also received a master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University and maintains her license as a nurse practitioner.
