CEO Connection represents the largest group of Mid-Market CEOs in the world. As business leaders, we have the opportunity to impact not only the businesses we have the privilege to run but also the communities in which we live and work.
The CEO Connection Equity and Opportunity Committee, includes over 25 Mid-Market CEOs, and is charged with identifying and implementing programs that make equal opportunity in our companies and communities a way of life not just a slogan.
We are working on five initiatives for the Mid-Market around equity and opportunity:
- Minority Business Funding Program
Chair: Van Freeman, Director, Future Workforce Development & Strategy, Aerospace Industries Assoc.
CEO Connection member companies can deposit excess cash into designated partner minority owned financial institutions that will be used to provide capital and support to minority owned businesses.
- Board Diversity

Identify and prepare minority executives to serve on corporate boards then match them to openings to help mid-market companies diversify their boards of directors and advisors.
- Supply Chain Diversity

Match minority owned businesses to mid-market companies to access contracts together and make it easier to diversify supply chain.
Workforce Diversity
